Upgrade a legacy 20-year-old TV studio into a modern
productionspace on a limited budget. The new setup had to support
multiple showformats and include extended AR capabilities — all
within 200 sqm.
Solution
We delivered a complete studio overhaul based on a technical
audit, optimizing 200 sqm into four distinct zones: news, talk
shows, weekly recaps, and thematic digests.
To stay within budget, we used a unified Aputure lighting system
with hybrid control (grandMA3 console and mobile app). Two zones
feature subscription-based AR graphics managed remotely — no
in-house AR staff required.
The entire physical studio was recreated virtually in Unreal
Engine, enabling scalable set extensions and immersive visuals. A
seamless layout allows presenters to move between zones live on
air, enhancing fluidity and viewer engagement. A real-time virtual
window to the city was added to the news set for dynamic visual
depth.
